Mobile machines:

The exhaust gas emissions of mobile machines and equipment (for the main part, this refers to the ubiquitous construction machines that are found on construction sites) are increasingly becoming the focus of public attention. Legislation is gradually tightening the applicable limit values for these areas of application. Mobile machines and devices are regulated by the “EU Non-road” Directive. In the past, it was possible to comply with the required emission limit values using engine-internal measures, such as exhaust gas recirculation or improved injection systems. The additional use of exhaust gas aftertreatment systems is essential with the currently applicable limit values of Level III b and the limit values of Level IV in the future. Diesel particulate filters and/or SCR systems are used depending on the raw emissions.
